Blue King Tetra

The Cochu's Blue Tetra (Boehlkea fredcochui), or Blue King Tetra, is a vibrant, active South American fish, growing up to 2 inches with a bright blue, iridescent body. Ideal for planted tanks, they require schools of 6+ in at least 15-20 gallons, with water temperatures between 72–82°F. They are peaceful but may nipping fins if stressed or kept in small numbers.
